A Swing Arm for the Laptop

One of the struggles of having a small shop is that there’s not a lot of workbench space. When I need to use my laptop in the shop it has to sit on the bench and take up valuable workspace. In my case, I also found that when the computer is on the bench, it gets terrible wi-fi signal. I decided to build a swingarm stand that I can use to place the laptop on. This will not only get the laptop off the workbench, but also place it near the window where hopefully I’ll get better Wi-Fi signal.

After completing this, I found out that I should have built this a long time ago. It works great. Check out the full build video below.
