Building a Show Pad Stand for my Daughter

You’ve probably heard me mention that my Daughter rides horses. Recently, she began purchasing some of her own tack. One of the things she uses when she’s at a horse show is a show pad. These are basically a small, thick wool blanket that goes over the saddle pad. They are made in tons of different colors so you can color coordinate with your outfit. If she continues on this journey, I’m have no doubt that she will end up with many of these show pads. I decided to gather up all of the remaining Elm that I have and build her a rack that she can use to hang all of these pads on. It will keep them neat and organized, and will also be a neat way to display them.

This stand turned out cool. Its my hope that this will last Hayley a very long time and serve her well in her Horse adventures.
