Building a Simple Rolling Shelf

We need a shelf for a room in our home to help keep some things better organized. That room is a wreck right now because we’re cleaning it out, so I need something that goes together quick and simply. I decided to use some 4′ premade stair treads that I found at my local big box store. By using something premade, it means I can get it assembled quicker. It also means you don’t need any type of saw to build this project. I added some stain and polyurethane to the stair treads to make them look better, then assembled the shelf using a pipe fitting kit that I ordered online. I finished it off by adding some casters to the bottom. This shelf turned out great and went together quickly. Its a nice option if you need a little extra storage space in your home or shop.
