Making the Ultimate Horseshoe Knife

I’ve been wanting to make an Ulu style knife from a horseshoe for quite some time. I started with a high carbon steel horseshoe and shaped the metal on my homemade 2×72″ belt grinder. After hardening the steel, I made some wooden handles and a leather sheath. These Horseshulu blades sharpened up really well. I think these turned out great and I bet you’ve never seen a knife quite like this.
