Making a Cutting Board | Great for new woodworkers or to use up scraps

Cutting boards are a great project for any woodworker. If you’re new to woodworking and are still getting your shop set up, they don’t require a ton of tools and they don’t need any fancy joinery to build. They are also great for a seasoned woodworker as well. You can collect your scrap pieces and use them to make some cutting boards instead of throwing the scraps away. Cutting boards also make great gifts. You can give them out for almost any occasion.

In this video, I’m going to briefly walk through the wood selection process as well as cover the simple build process. We’ll talk about what glue to use and some options for finishing too.
